According to the Benchmark level and Benchmark Level of Energy Efficiency in Key Fields of Energy-Intensive Industries (2021 edition), the benchmark level of energy efficiency in blast furnace process is 361 kg standard coal/ton, and the benchmark level is 435 kg standard coal/ton. The benchmark level of converter process energy efficiency is -30 kg standard coal/ton, and the benchmark level is -10 kg standard coal/ton; Electric arc furnace smelting (30 tons < nominal capacity < 50 tons) energy efficiency benchmark level is 67 kg standard coal/ton, the benchmark level is 86 kg standard coal/ton, electric arc furnace smelting (nominal capacity ≥50 tons) energy efficiency benchmark level is 61 kg standard coal/ton, the benchmark level is 72 kg standard coal/ton. By the end of 2020, about 4% of the blast furnace process energy efficiency in China’s iron and steel industry is better than the benchmark level, and about 30% of the capacity is lower than the benchmark level. About 6% of the converter process energy efficiency is better than benchmark level, and about 30% of the converter process energy efficiency is lower than benchmark level.
